Effets secondaires

2000-2001

Works by ex-drug addicts in a foster home (le Gué).
I worked with young people who had decided to break with a physical or psychological addiction, on the idea of an exchange through photography
(meaning I took portrait in exchange for a mise-en-scene).
The negative of the portrait belonged to them. Through the image, they could have a different view of themselves.
The set is made up of small metallic prints (10 x 15cm) on black and white platinum-coated paper, a direct link with small and precious and toxic characteristic of drugs.

Published in Le Monde Diplomatique, February 2003 and January 2004

The series is composed of 50 black and whie prints on arche-platinum paper, 8,4 x 12,5cm, limited to 8 copies + 2 artist’s prints.
